Our guides · Free to read

A short shelf of honest dental guides.

Three short PDFs we wrote the way we'd want them written for us. Not sales brochures, not buyer's guides full of bullet points. Just an honest walk-through of what to ask, what to watch for, and what a fair price looks like in the UK in 2026.

Each one is about twelve pages, takes ten minutes to read, and was written by us at the practice (not generated, not outsourced). Pop in your email and we'll send the PDF straight to your inbox. We don't pass your details on, and we won't call you unless you ask us to. We'd just like you to make a better-informed choice, whether that's with us or with another clinic.

All-on-4 implants

The honest cost guide.

Why a full set of fixed-in teeth costs £20-40k in the UK (not £80k), where the money actually goes, how four implants hold an entire jaw, and the Turkey math honestly. Plus the five questions to ask at any implant consultation.

Clear aligners

Supervised vs postal, honestly.

The genuine difference between aligners with a real dentist watching and the kind that arrive in the post. What the 3D simulation actually shows you. What a fair UK price looks like in 2026. And the five questions that sort out a careful clinic from a rushed one.

Bonding vs veneers

The £199 vs £695 decision.

Most people who walk into a consultation thinking they need veneers don't. This walks through which treatment is actually right for your tooth, when veneers really do earn their premium, and the 30-year cost math most comparisons skip.

A small note about how we wrote them

No sales pitch, on purpose.

A guide that talks you into a treatment isn't really a guide, it's a sales letter. We've tried to write these the way we'd want one written for us if we were the patient. That means sometimes the right answer is bonding when you thought veneers, or it's a different clinic when you thought us, or it's waiting six months for a more complex case to be planned properly. We've left all of those in.

If, after reading one, you'd like to come in and chat about your specific case, the consultation is free and includes the initial X-rays. We're at Whitehall Estate in Armley, Leeds, with free parking outside. The phones get answered by a real person at the front desk, around the clock.

Either way, we hope the guides are useful.
